FiveM Asset Escrow System
Kyros FiveM resources are protected by the FiveM Asset Escrow System. Below are the most common errors and how to fix each one.
You lack the required entitlement?
Make sure your server key is from the same Keymaster account where you purchased and downloaded the scripts.
Steps to resolve:
- Log in to keymaster.fivem.net
- Go to Granted Assets and confirm the purchase appears there
- Generate a new server key under the same account
- Update your
server.cfg:
server.cfg
sv_licenseKey "your-new-license-key-here"- Fully restart your server (not just a resource restart)
Error parsing script / Failed to load script
If you are uploading files via FTP, use WinSCP. Other FTP clients may corrupt escrow-protected Lua files during transfer.
Failed to verify protected resource
- Windows: Re-download the script from Keymaster and extract it using WinRAR or 7-Zip. Do not use the Windows built-in extractor.
- FTP upload: After extracting locally, upload with WinSCP.

- Uploaded via WinSCP if using FTP
